For our first session of 2017, the Mobile Learning Lab is partnering with Infusion Toronto to provide you with two great talks focused on supercharging your mobile apps through the use of artificial intelligence!

Jeremy’s presentation, titled, “Giving your apps superpowers with Cognitive Services” will discuss how apps are getting smarter through easily implemented SaaS Artificial Intelligence services like Cognitive Services from Microsoft. This framework is a great example of how you can get started with AI without a data science degree and allows for a wide range of image, text, and translation capabilities. He will discuss how these services can be leveraged within your existing mobile applications as well as how they can be used in exciting next-generation mixed-reality platforms such as the HoloLens.
Petar Stoilov, Associate Creative Director, Global Design Lead @ Infusion
Petar will be speaking and providing a demo on “2017 in Mobile Design: A User Experience Perspective”. In this talk, he will take a look at top picks for mobile applications design trends and predictions. While heavily focused on User Experience considerations, the discussion will also touch on other factors that influence application design, such as evolving technologies, growing user base and changing business models.
